Our New Home

Throughout this website, you might find that we mention phrases like: “our new home” or our “new church building”. Well, if you’re interested in why, here’s the quick summary.

Before, April of this year, Harvest was meeting at a local private school in Solana Beach. We had been there for quite a while. But through God’s grace and His provisions, we were able to complete a new church building on El Camino Real in Del Mar in May of 2010. This is where we now meet for just about everything!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How big is the new fellowship hall?
A: About the same size (square footage) but much taller. It is wider but a bit shallower. It can also hold around 200 people.

Q: When will the new church building be finished?
A: It’s done. ABSF meets there now and so does our weekly Wednesday prayer meeting

Q: Where is our new church building located?
A: Look at where the green arrow is on this map.

Q: Can I get directions to the church?
A: Absolutely.
FROM THE SOUTH (UCSD): Take I-5 North, exit Del Mar Heights Road, turn right (heading east), make a left onto El Camino Real (going north). Travel for about 4 blocks. The church is on your right.
FROM THE NORTH (Solana Beach, Carlsbad): Take I-5 South, exit Via de la Valle and make a left (heading east). Turn right on El Camino Real and head south for about a mile. The church will be to your left. Make a U-turn on Sea Ln. to get to the entrance.

Q: I’m using a map program to find the church but the address seems to point our church to the middle of a shopping center. Are we located in a shopping center?
A: Absolutely not. Currently, our address is too new to reflect in certain mapping programs. Please follow the directions above to get to church.

Q: Speaking of which, what is the address of our church?
A: 13885 El Camino Real, San Diego, CA 92130

Q: When is the dedication ceremony?
A: No date has been assigned the dedication ceremony so far (the previous date of the 18th has been changed).

Q: I’m eager to help. Is there anything I can do?
A: Oh, you have no idea—If you’re interested in helping out, please contact us and we’ll keep you in mind when the building committee delegates new duties for us to fulfill at the new church. There is TONS to be done!
