Our Message

Thank you for your visit to the Harvest San Diego website. It was created with the hope that through this site, you would come to understand a little bit more of what Harvest is all about. As you browse through all of our ministries, activities, and fellowships, may God be glorified. We are hopeful that the time spent here with us is an uplifting experience. If, in the future, there is anything we can do for you, or if you have an urgent need, please feel free to let us know. We would consider it a privilege to serve you in any way possible.

In 1 Corinthians 10:31 the Scripture says, “Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God”. This verse summarizes our approach to ministry here at Harvest. In all that we do, whether in our worship, our teaching, our service, or our fellowship, our ultimate goal is to bring glory to God. We seek to worship God in ‘Spirit and Truth’ as our Lord commanded. We also seek to magnify the Word of God through the faithful preaching of the Bible each and every Sunday. It is our conviction that the supreme authority for everything we do and believe is found in the Holy Scriptures. In that sense, we unapologetically embrace the Reformation teaching of ‘Sola Scriptura’ (the Scriptures alone).

We have a variety of ministry activities throughout the week, which include…

  • Sunday AM: Worship and Christian Education Classes for all ages
  • Monday PM: Homeless ministry in Downtown San Diego on Monday evenings
  • Tuesday PM: A church-wide prayer meeting on Tuesday evenings
  • Thursday PM: A young adult fellowship and small group ministry
  • Friday PM: A college ministry at the University of California – San Diego, which meets Fridays for large group fellowship, and small groups throughout the week.

We, at Harvest, are very excited about what the Lord is doing here, and anticipate He will do even greater things in the future.
