Outreach Ministry
Through the beautiful gospel of Jesus, God grants sinful and undeserving people a relationship with Himself. In response, Harvest Outreach Ministry is committed to encouraging this church to personally embrace the gospel, and to live missionally as partners in the gospel. We desire for our church to go to people who don’t know God to make disciples, baptize, and teach of Jesus according to the Bible (Mat 28:18-20). With trust in God’s sovereignty and the gospel’s power to save, we desire for our church members to pursue opportunities to share the gospel in loving truth with clarity, boldness, and sincerity (Col 4:2-4, 2 Cor 1:12, 1 Cor 1:18). We pray that the gospel would be validated by our lives, marked by loving service and humility as ambassadors of Christ (2 Cor 5:20-21). If we could truly understand what God has done, how could such good news not compel us to live, relate, and share in these ways?
Harvest Outreach Ministry seeks ways to encourage this church to share the gospel personally, together as a church, and by lifestyle. We offer a college Seeker Small Group, a safe place for people who don’t know God to explore the Bible and discuss their questions. We gather resources that will aid in sharing the good news. We initiate opportunities to interact with our community, and God-willing, build relationships and care for their lives.
