Women’s Ministry
The Women’s Ministry here at Harvest welcomes you to our church! Women’s Ministry is dedicated to serving our church and community through service to our Lord. By God’s grace, this ministry is able to offer several different opportunities for you to grow in godliness, knowledge of the Word, fellowship, and service.
College Small Groups are composed of college-aged women who meet on a weekly basis to share in biblical fellowship, accountability, and to study the Word of God. Women will have the opportunity to serve with their small groups and apply biblical Truths to their everyday lives.
Young Adult Accountability Groups are composed of post-college women who meet on a regular basis to spur each other on in biblical fellowship, which includes exhortation, encouragement, rebuke, and prayer. These women are a support to one another in keeping each other accountable in their spiritual walk with God.
Discipleship is a personal relationship between two sisters in Christ for the purpose of maturing and growing in godliness. Graciously, several mature ladies of our church have offered to share their time and insights to new and younger maturing Christians.
Women’s Tea Time is an informal gathering where our Pastor’s wife, Dalia Warda, teaches on topics pertinent to Christian women. This is a great way to learn and gain wisdom and insight from Dalia, as well as from older more mature women by forming relationships with the ladies of Harvest!
May you be able to find Harvest San Diego a place where you can grow, learn, and serve our Lord!
Women’s Ministry this year is specifically dedicated to two particular goals:
- To identify the biblical role of women in the church and then joyfully embracing our God-given roles to serve one another, to support the leadership at Harvest, and to serve our community.
- To pray for God to grant us hearts of compassion and mercy and to obey joyfully by serving the underprivileged, the lost, the poor, and the needy.
